Michelle is the owner and director of Michelle's Studio of Dance. She has owned and operated the studio for 30 years. Michelle is a member of the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and former President of the Greater Brockton Dance Teachers Association. For many years, Michelle has coordinated and directed the Summer Dance Festival held annually in Sturbridge, MA. She has choreographed many award-winning routines for local and national competitions and has been recognized as an “Outstanding Teacher” by the Dance Ovation Competition. Michelle’s kindness and compassion is shown through her teaching as well as her interactions with her MSOD family members.
Besides her love of dance, Michelle is a proud wife and mother of two daughters. In her time away from the studio she enjoys going to the gym, listening to country music, and spending time with family and friends.
Jill is a graduate of the Dean College dance program and received her Bachelor of Art degree in dance. She has been dancing for many years and has experience in performance as well as the classroom. She has been teaching here at MSOD for 10 years and has always loved sharing the art of dance with her students. Jill not only teaches confidence in her dancing, but allows dancers to achieve their own personal goals while making sure to inspire her students. Jillian is married and a mother of two and currently lives in Bridgewater.
Lila is a former MSOD competitive dancer and alumni. She studied dance in college and ran the dance company at SSU. She has been teaching dance, to thousands of students, over the last 20 years and has continued sharing her love of dance at MSOD. Lila loves teaching all styles of dance and continues educating in HipHop, Contemporary and Tap this season. Now a full-time Real Estate agent, and extremely busy mom of 3, she feels very blessed to do what she loves in a studio that feels like home!
Chantal has been teaching at MSOD for almost 8 years. Chantal is a graduate of the Dean College Dance program and has received her Associate of Arts degree in dance. With many years experience in the classroom as well as the stage, consisting of both performances and competitions, Chantal is excited to work with students and share her love of dance and joy for teaching. She brings creativity and inspiration to the world of dance and hopes she can teach dancers how to have a positive attitude and be proud of their dance successes. In her time away from the studio she enjoys going to the beach, working out and playing with her dogs.
Miss Amanda is from Middleboro and has been working at MSOD for 5 years. Amanda grew up dancing competitively and continued to perform throughout her undergraduate career at UNH. She loves spending Saturday mornings playing with our youngest dancers. At MSOD, Amanda was able to find her passion for educating young children. She recently graduated with her Masters in Education from Bridgewater State. During the day you can find her at Central School in East Bridgewater. When not at the studio or school you can find Amanda at the beach, out shopping, or in line at Peaceful Meadows for a coffee frappe!
This is Miss Skylar’s 2nd year teaching Acro here at MSOD. She grew up in East Bridgewater and was a cheerleader for 12 years, winning State Championships with East Bridgewater High School’s cheerleading team. She was on an Acrobatic and Tumbling team while out in school in West Virginia before moving back home to East Bridgewater. Miss Skylar is excited to work with our young dancers and enjoys helping them discover their talents.
Mollie grew up dancing here at MSOD and currently works in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturday mornings. She is a graduate of Endicott College and holds her BA in Early Childhood Education; she holds her license in Early Childhood and Moderate Disabilities. Mollie is a Special Education Preschool Teacher at the Central School in East Bridgewater. She will be beginning her Master’s program in the fall.
Michelle has been with MSOD for over 10 years. Michelle works in our office and is a friendly face for parents and dancers to come to with any questions. She is the mother of 3 daughters and a graduate of Salem State, where she met her husband Chris. Michelle enjoys going to the gym, running and visiting her daughters in college.
